Privacy Policy

Drill Sgt ("we," "us," or "our") is designed to keep movement tracking simple. This Privacy Policy explains what information Drill Sgt collects, how we use and share it, how we protect it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.

Information We Collect

• Movement history, including completed sets, dates, movement choices, and rep counts.
• App settings such as reminder preferences, interval length, default movement, and goals.
• Account and authentication information, including an app-specific account identifier and login and session records.
• Optional email address and one-time verification codes if you choose email backup, login, or restore.
• Subscription information, including subscription status, product, store, expiration, and an app-specific customer identifier. Drill Sgt does not receive your full payment-card details.
• Information you choose to include when contacting support.

How We Use Information

We use your information to save your progress, restore your data when requested, schedule reminder behavior, authenticate your account, verify subscription access, prevent abuse, troubleshoot support requests, and operate and secure the app.

Service Providers

Drill Sgt uses Convex for authentication, data storage, and sync. If you use email backup, login, or restore, Drill Sgt uses Resend to deliver a one-time code to the email address you provide. Drill Sgt uses RevenueCat to manage and verify subscriptions. The Apple App Store and Google Play process purchases and payments made through their stores. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own terms as needed to provide their services.

Notifications

Reminder notifications are controlled by your device permissions and app settings. Drill Sgt stores a reminder schedule on your device and schedules local notifications there so you can be prompted for future movement sets. We do not use reminder notifications for advertising.

Data Stored On Your Device

Drill Sgt stores authentication credentials using protected device storage and stores reminder schedule information in app storage. The app also asks the operating system to store scheduled local notifications. This information remains on the device until it is cleared by the app, by you through device controls, or by the operating system.

Sharing And Sales

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers described above as needed to operate Drill Sgt, process subscriptions, comply with law, protect the app and its users, or respond to your support requests. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Data Security

Drill Sgt sends data to its service providers over encrypted HTTPS connections. We use authentication, access controls, and restricted service credentials to limit access to account data. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention And Deletion

• We retain account information, movement history, settings, and subscription status for as long as your Drill Sgt account remains active so the app can provide sync, progress, restore, and subscription features.
• One-time email verification codes expire after one hour. Related delivery and security records may be kept only as long as reasonably necessary to deliver the message, prevent abuse, and secure the service.
• Deleting your account in the app removes your account and associated data from Drill Sgt's active systems immediately, including your movement history, settings, goals, verified backup email, login and session data, and Drill Sgt subscription-status record. It also clears Drill Sgt's reminder schedule and scheduled notifications from that device. Except for the limited records described below, we do not retain this data in our active systems after deletion.
• If you request deletion by email because you cannot access the app, we may need to verify the request. We complete verified requests within 30 days. Data stored only on a device must be removed using that device's app-storage controls if the app cannot perform the deletion.
• We may retain limited transaction, subscription-event, security, anti-fraud, or legal-compliance records after account deletion when reasonably necessary or required by law. We do not use retained records to provide app features, and we delete them when the applicable security, legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purpose ends. Residual copies in routine service-provider backups are not used in the ordinary course and are removed as those backups expire.

Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and other service providers may retain purchase, payment, delivery, or security records under their own legal obligations and retention policies. Deleting a Drill Sgt account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. See Delete Your Account for instructions and important subscription information.

Your Choices

You can disable reminders in the app or in your device settings. You can delete your account and associated app data from the app settings. If you cannot access the app, you can submit a deletion request by email as described on the Delete Your Account page. You may also contact us to ask a privacy question or request help with your information.
